Salvation Army seeks donations, volunteers

The Salvation Army always welcomes donations and volunteers to fulfill its mission of helping those who most need help. Currently, donations sought include food staples, especially canned fruit, men’s and women’s razors, deodorant, shampoo and other personal hygiene products.

Volunteers, especially younger people who can help pick up and move furniture, are needed for all shifts. You can work as little as a few hours per week, depending on your scheduling, helping to sort, stock and do other tasks in our Thrift Shop and Food Pantry.

To donate or volunteer, bring money or items to the Salvation Army store at 300 W. Washington St., Frankfort, or call Edith Crews at 765-654-7896.
