The Farmers Bank, headquartered in Frankfort, with 10 offices in Central Indiana, announced that Ashley Roose has been promoted to branch manager at its Fishers Office. She began her employment with the bank on Dec. 1, 2010, as a teller/customer service representative and most recently served as assistant branch manager at The Farmers Bank Noblesville Office.

Roose resides in Noblesville with her husband Ryan Roose and their son Ryder and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading and being outdoors.

Lehman and Cagnassola appointed to board

Karen F. Gregerson, president and chief executive officer of The Farmers Bank, announced Tuesday that Donna J. Lehman and Gregory “Greg” J. Cagnassola have been appointed to the company’s board of directors.

The addition of Lehman and Cagnassola increases the size of The Farmers Bank board of directors from nine to 11 members.

“Their wealth of knowledge and experience, coupled with their diverse backgrounds, will be an asset to our board,” said Gregerson.

Lehman, a certified public accountant, graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Ball State University in Muncie.

She is founder and co-owner of Lehman & Company P.C., located in Noblesville, where she works with her entire immediate family including her mother Jeanne.

Prior to founding the company, Lehman worked as a CPA for Norkus & DelFabro CPA and Geo. S Olive CPA, both located in Indianapolis. She has served as the Hamilton County 4-H treasurer, a board member of the Hamilton County Extension Homemakers and the treasurer for the North Elementary and White River Elementary Parent Teacher Organizations.

She is also a member of Farm Bureau Inc. of Hamilton County and the Indiana CPA Society.

Lehman and her husband Ken reside in Noblesville. Their children include son Ben and his wife Audrey (Fisher) Lehman and daughter Emily (Lehman) and her husband David Kuhn. They also have two grandchildren, Faith and Caleb.

In her spare time, Lehman enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing golf and helping with youth activities.

“I am excited to become a part of The Farmers Bank team. I appreciate the culture and commitment of this locally owned bank,” said Lehman. “I hope my years of service with small businesses and family farms will benefit The Farmers Bank customers.”

Cagnassola, an attorney, received his Bachelor of Science degree in General Management from Purdue University in West Lafayette and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University while working full time.

He is a partner and counsel for DeFur Voran LLP, Attorneys at Law, located in Fishers, and formerly was corporate counsel and a tax analyst for Inland Container Corporation and an internal auditor for the Ball Corporation.

He has been active in the community as a board member for Fishers Music Works, an advisory board member for Boilermaker Business Exchange, past board member of Hamilton County YMCA, mentor for Hamilton Southeastern Academy of Finance, president of Theta Chi Alumni of Alpha Delta Chapter Inc. and a member of Purdue University President’s Council.

Cagnassola is also a member of the Indiana State, Hamilton County and Indianapolis Bar Associations.

He and his wife Carrie, also a Purdue graduate, are long-time Indianapolis residents. They enjoy attending university events with their sons, Drew, Jack, Tommy and Will – all of whom are Purdue alumni or current Purdue students.

“In my years of practice, I have always been impressed by The Farmers Bank and its people,” said Cagnassola. “As the bank enters its 142nd year, I am excited to have the opportunity to work with the organization to further increase its presence in the markets they serve.”
