Marjorie Hendricks July 17, 1922 - April 7, 2019

Marjorie Ellen Armantrout Hendricks, of Frankfort and formerly of Crawfordsville, passed away Sunday morning at Asperion Health Care in Frankfort. She was 96.

Mrs. Hendricks was a life-long member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Eastern Star and the home ec club. She worked 17 years at Lord’s Dress Shop.

Born July 17, 1922 at Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Ralph Armantrout and Agnes Couger Armantrout. She attended Crawfordsville schools. She married Harry Dale Hendricks on Feb. 3, 1940 at the Mt. Zion parsonage. He preceded her in death on Nov. 16, 2006.

Surviving family includes a daughter, Rosemary Ellen Martin (Harvey) of Frankfort, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Dale Hendricks; grandson, Jerry Dale Van Court; and a brother and sister that passed away as children.

Family and friends can pay their respects Thursday, April 11 from noon to 2 p.m. at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Avenue, Crawfordsville. Services will begin at 2 p.m., led by Pastor Jeremy Turner. Burial will follow at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
