Frankfort girls tennis remains unbeaten

Frankfort remained unbeaten in girls tennis beating visiting Twin Lakes, 4-1, on Monday to improve to 3-0 on the season.

Emily Michael won 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1 singles and Riley Isgrigg took No. 2 by scores of 6-3, 6-2. The Hot Dogs swept both doubles, with Abby Pierce and Rylee Seibert going three sets for a 6-1, 3-6, 6-2 win at No. 1 and Jalynn Kidwell and Rebeca Perez taking No. 2 (6-1, 6-0).

Maddie Toney lost a tight three-set match at No. 3 singles (5-7, 6-4, 6-2).

Junior varsity winners for Frankfort in singles were Ashlyn Harshbarger (8-4), Marilu Perez (8-1), Karely Santos (8-3) and Maria Guijosa (8-0). Doubles winners were Perez and Santos (8-0).

Frankfort was to play at Western last night, with Delphi visiting tonight at 5 p.m.
