Frankfort topped visiting Sheridan, 9-4, in girls soccer on Wednesday, improving their record to 3-1-1.

Carolyne Morales and Liz Cruz Sandoval led the Hot Dogs with three goals each. Maria Alanis, Ariana Regalado and Lizbeth Barriga scored the other goals, which included Barriga's first career goal.

Barriga scored on an assist from Sandoval three minutes into the game. Morales scored on an assist from Alanis with about 18 minutes left in the half. They increased the lead to 5-0 at halftime, with Morales scoring off another Sandoval assist, Sandoval scoring herself with Alanis assisting and Regalado finishing the scoring.

After a Blackhawks score, Alanis and Sandoval each scored off Regalado assists. Sheridan cut the lead as Frankfort experimented with lineups with Sandoval assisting Morales and then scoring herself to finish the scoring for the Hot Dogs.
