This year certainly had more than its fair share of challenges. Even though the country was dealt a harsh blow by the pandemic, Frankfort and Clinton County still had things to be grateful for. As the pandemic shut down normal routines, the community stepped up.
“Even though we lost 22 percent of mom and pop businesses, our community came together to keep 78 percent of them,” said Shan Sheridan, Executive Director of the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce and host of The E-Factor. “These folks go to church together. They are at auctions together, games together, and the community really pulled together and invested in our small businesses.”
