The Frankfort Police Department (FPD) officially released further information regarding the search warrant following the arrest of a woman last week.
On Sept. 9, Ravinn Burchett, 27, was arrested on two counts of dealing methamphetamine. Brandon Vice, 28, was arrested in Whitestown, Indiana, on the same day for burglary and resisting law enforcement as another suspect in the case, police say.
FPD reported that Vice was held at another facility outside of the county and could not be arrested alongside Burchett. On Sept. 12, Clinton County Circuit Court signed an arrest warrant for Vice with charges of four counts of dealing methamphetamine, dealing marijuana, possession of a narcotic drug, unlawful possession of a syringe and theft according to authorities.
FPD reported that Vice will be transferred to Clinton County upon release in Boone County.
FPD continues to enact its efforts to decrease the drug traffic issue in Clinton County that was highlighted during National Overdose Day in August, and FPD officers continue to update the community on their efforts to fight the opioid crisis.
