The City of Frankfort Street Department is set to reopen its recycling center to the public on Monday at 905 Burlington Avenue.
The center has been closed to the public since late March. Since then, the street department was able to resume its recycling pickup service for recyclable materials other than glass, which became a safety issue. A recycling tuck was also parked in front of the street department for residents to dump their recyclables into. The truck would then take those recyclables to Werner & Son Recycling where they were sorted.
