Michael Amich, 66, of Prescott Valley, Ariz. passed away Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019 at home.
He was born May 2, 1953 in Frankfort to Vergil Amich and Joann (Strickler) Amich; both proceeded him in death.
Michael is survived by his girlfriend, Barbara Peace; three daughters, Tina Amich, Kandra Amich and Jessica Moncayo; and 13 grandchildren, all of Arizona.
He was a graduate of Clinton Prairie High School in 1971 where he played football and wrestled. He sang in the Clinton Prairie Chorus and the Prairie Singers.
He was a painter by trade and a musician by choice. He had a lifelong love of music. He was a local musician, and when he moved to Arizona he continued his musical career. He played in many bands and loved country, western and blues music best.
A Celebration of Life is being held at noon Nov. 17 in Prescott Valley, Ariz. at Toney's Too Bar and Grill with three bands performing in his memory.
A local Celebration of Life is being held at 1 p.m. Nov. 16 at Southfork Restaurant and Pub. As per his wishes, the theme locally is “Michael Music Memories.”
