Vader Bell Seabolt, 81, of Frankfort, died Nov. 1, 2019 at I.U. Health Hospital in Frankfort. She was born Nov. 13, 1937 in Monroe County, Kentucky to Arlie J. & Lela Pearl (Estes) Fish. She married Samuel J. Seabolt on Sept. 12, 1954 at the First Baptist Church, and he preceded her in death on June 9, 2014.
Vader was a 1955 graduate of Frankfort High School. She was a secretary for Robert Bracken, Peter Paul and later worked part time at Wal-Mart. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church, and the Eagles Lodge, where she served as secretary for over 30 years. She enjoyed dancing, reading, church and volunteering at the Paul Phillippe Resource Center.
She is survived by four daughters, Teresa Burnette of Campbellsville, Ky., Sheila Grubb of Frankfort, Karen Lashbrook of Frankfort and Crystal (Derrick) Favors of Indianapolis; one son, Steven Seabolt of Frankfort; a brother, James Fish of Indianapolis; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by a sister, Bela McClaughlin, and a granddaughter, Carly.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST), Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral Celebration will be 1 p.m. EST, Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019 at Grace Baptist Church, 900 S. Maish Rd., Frankfort. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.
