Clinton Central held its fall sports banquet on Nov. 20 with several student-athletes recognized for their efforts in five sports during the event.

Team award winners recognized during the evening included: football – Ross Cripe (MVP and all-Hoosier Heartland Conference), Owen Smith (Torchbearer Leadership award and all-HHC), Jack Akard (offensive line award), Riston Quick (defensive line award), Anthony Ransford (offensive skill position award), Caleb Heide (defensive skill position award) and Hunter Salem (most improved voted on by coaches); volleyball – Kendall Davison (MVP), Susie Jones (most improved varsity) and Addi Bogard (most improved JV); girls golf – Hannah McQuinn (MVP), Addy Sheets (Iron Girl award), Kailie Burnette (most improved) and Hanna Cheek (academic all-state); cross country – Bryson Webb (boys MVP and mental attitude) and Samantha Hadaway (girls MVP and all-HHC); and cheerleading – Rhiese Shelley (top all-around), Keeleigh Click (most improved), Molly Lewis (top jumper) and Ally Hensley (mental attitude).
