Riley Goodnight scored a team-high 21 points in the Hot Dogs’ home opener.

In its home opener, the Frankfort boys’ basketball team played host to the Carroll Cougars, a team that has found itself without answers against the Hot Dogs for the past two seasons. This season was no different with the Hot Dogs thwarting the Cougars, 63-51, on their way to the second win of their young season.

In hindsight, Frankfort head coach Nathan VanDuyne was pleased with his team’s ability to fight through the physical play of the Cougars while admitting that his team’s success from beyond the 3-point line played a difference in the overall outcome.
