The Hot Dogs got their first home win in four years Friday, beating the Southmont Mounties, 40-22, on Senior Night in Frankfort.

“Our staff was very proud of our team,” said James Byers, head coach of the Hot Dogs. “We showed poise and played with confidence. Southmont did a great job on the opening drive before the defense was able to settle in. We were able to tie the game before the half, and the offense really came alive in the second half. By midway through the fourth quarter, it was 40-6, so it was also exciting to be able to get all of our young guys some reps on a Friday night.”
