Garrett McGraw led the Gophers in scoring with 16 points.

In what looked to be a game that would go down to the wire, the Clinton Prairie boys basketball team lost steam going into the fourth quarter before losing 49-39 to Carroll High School on Tuesday night in the first round of the 61st Annual Clinton Central Holiday Tournament.

Clinton Prairie was within striking distance going into the fourth quarter, but a 6-0 run allowed the Cougars to slowly pull away from the Gophers.
