The Rossville boys basketball team traveled to Western Boone on Wednesday where they took on a Stars team that had yet to play a game this season due to Coronavirus restrictions. The Hornets took the opposition’s best shot as Western Boone scored 31 second-half points to make the contest. Ultimately, the Hornets prevailed with a 51-47 victory to extend their winning streak to three games.
After the game, Rossville head coach Cory Dunn embraced the fact that his team had a close contest that provided a chance for growth with a shorthanded Hornets roster.
